Hope for good weather

Kurzes Update:

Gestern waren Patrick Schwaiger, Flo Wieser und Ich zusammen mit dem Fotografen  Thilo Brunner am Weißsee Gletscher unterwegs und gingen eine Tour auf die Granatspitze (3088m). Bedingungen waren genial, 35cm Powder, Schönstes Wetter und klirrende -22 grad. Erscheinen wird diese Tour im "Alpin" Magazin.
So und jetzt hoffe ich mal auf  längeres Schönes Wetter, Filmen steht am Programm...


Short update:

Yesterday, Patrick Schwaiger, Flo Wieser and I together with photographer Thilo Brunner were at the Weißsee Glacier  and went on a tour to the Granatspitze (3088m). Conditions were awesome, 35cm Powder, Bluebird and frosty -22 degree.This tour will appear in the "Alpine" magazine.  
And now I just hope for more beautiful weather, filming days are on...

Bergans of Norway - TV Spot

Hy,
Ich hoffe ihr hattet einen feinen und sonnigen Sommer. Der Winter rückt mit grossen Schritten näher und das ist auch gut so ;-)
Hier schonmal ein vorgeschmack, seit 2 Wochen wird dieser TV Werbespot von Bergans in Norwegen ausgestrahlt. Alle Aufnahmen sind von unseren Lofoten Freeridetrip vom letzten März.

I hope you have enjoyed the summer. Winter is coming really fast now ;-) Since 2 weeks this TV Spot from Bergans is running in Norway. All the pictures are from our last  freeridetrip on the Lofoten last march.

Lofoten Filmtrip 2012

Hallo zusammen,
einige zeit ist vergangen seit meinem letzten Blogeintrag. Nach einem perfekten Winter zuhause mit reichlich Powder unter den Skiern unternahm ich zusammen mit Lothar Hofer, Martin Sochor (Ydreamproduction) und Oliver Kain einen Trip auf die Lofoten für ein neues Filmprojekt.
Die Landschaft der Lofoten ist einfach einzigartig und Wunderschön, keine Lifte - was heißt du musst dir jeden meter selbst verdienen, wahnsinns Berge, unzählige Gipfel und rundherum nur Meer. Ich hatte selten so viel Spass auf einem Skitrip, danke an die CREW.

Some time has passed since my last blog entry. After a perfect winter home with plenty of powder under our skis I made together with Lothar Hofer, Martin Sochor (YDreamProduction) and Oliver Kain a trip to Lofoten for a new film project.
The landscape of the Lofoten Islands is unique and beautifully, no lifts - which means you have to earn  any meter by yourself, huge mountains, countless peaks and only the sea all around. I had so much fun at the trip, big thanks to the crew.

Shootingdays

Vor einer guten Woche war ich zusammen mit Eva Walkner, Francois Kern und Boris Dufour als Fotograf   am Krippenstein shooten für ein Französisches Skimagazin. Am ersten Tag war das Wetter nicht so auf unserer Seite aber dafür wurden wir am zweiten Tag mit Blauen Himmel und Sonnenschein belohnt. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Moni von der Krippenstein - Lodge wo wir wieder mal perfekt versorgt wurden http://www.lodge 



One week ago i was together with Eva Walkner, Francois Kern and Boris Dufour (photographer) on the Krippenstein for a photoshooting for a french skimagazine. On the first day the weather wasn´t really good but the next day it was bluebird. A special thanks goes out to Moni from the Krippenstein Lodge for the excellent food and accommodation http://www.lodge.at/

Big Mountain Competition Hochfügen 4* FWQ

Ich hatte gestern den kältesten Contesttag meines Lebens -25 grad mit Wind. Aber ich war gut eingepackt mit meiner Ortovox Merino Unterwäsche und meiner Guten Daunenjacke von Bergans.
Das Level der Fahrer war sehr hoch, es gab kaum Stürze und sehr viele verschiedene spektakuläre Lines.
Die Schneebedingungen waren perfekt, 15 cm schöner kalter powder von start bis Ziel.
Ich hatte einen sehr schnellen Flüssigen run mit einigen Jumps und schlussendlich kam der 12. Platz für mich raus von ca. 38 Skifahrer Männlich. Bin zufrieden und hatte spass und das ist das Wichtigste am Freeriden.
So und in nächster Zeit  stehen einige Foto und Filmaufnahmen am Plan, was mir Persönlich mehr spass macht als Contest fahren.

It was definitely the coldest competition of my live -25 degree with wind. But my Ortovox Merino underwear and my down jacket from Bergans keep in me warm. The Level of riding was really high, not a lot of crashes and lot of nice different lines. The snowconditions were really perfect with 15 cm of pow in the whole face.
My run was fast with a few jumps and i reached the 12th place from 38 ski male starters. Iam satisfied with my result and  had a lot of fun and that´s the most important thing in Freeriding, to have FUN ;-)
In the next time i have some foto and filmshots on my plan and that makes more fun as only riding on competitions.

Diesen Winter meint es Frau Holle besonders gut mit uns, Bilder sagen mehr als Worte.

This winter is just awesome, we got so much snow in january, pictures speak louder than words.

so und jetz gehts zum filmen, wohin und was für ein Film wird noch nicht verraten ;-)

and now i´m going to have fun on a new filmprojekt, where and what kind of film is still a secret  ;-)
